enjoys a "never-a-dull-moment" life of adventure
on the Colorado prairie.
As a child, she wanted to be three things:
an actress, a teacher, and a writer.
By the time Suzie was twelve, she was avidly reading
Nancy Drew mysteries and Judy Bloom romances.
Inspired to write her own stories,
Suzie would fill spiral notebooks,
cover to cover, with novel chapters.
Every story had a happy ending.
In addition to three published novels, Suzie has also published one short story and numerous articles, one of which was featured by Oxygen Media.
"Why Barbie Can't be a Mom,"
a humorous take on Barbie,
was voted best Oxygen web page for several months.
Suzie has found her home with her life partner Diane.
Together, they are raising two children, one rooster, two cats, one dog, and twenty-four horses. Suzie is also attending school to earn a degree in Journalism.
Suzie celebrates diversity and hopes
her readers do as well.
Most of all, she looks forward to a world
that celebrates love without the boundaries
of race, etnicity, religion, social status, age, or gender.
She hopes you enjoy meeting her characters
as much as she has enjoyed creating them.
